The exhibition "The art of eating. From still life to Ferran Adrià" offers a wide-ranging vision of the close and productive relationship between art and food over the centuries, from the origins and consolidation of the genre of still life in the 17th century to the present day. It pays special attention to the various art forms created from the 1960s and 1970s, when food and the act of eating, with all its weight of meaning, burst into the work of artists who were looking for other materials, new behaviours and new approaches to experience life to the full and go beyond the representation of reality.
