"Casa Milà", commonly known as "la Pedrera", is a unique building, built between 1906 and 1912 by the architect Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926), and which was declared UNESCO World Heritage in 1984. Currently, the building houses the main offices of CatalunyaCaixa Social Work and it is an important Cultural Centre essential point of reference for the city due to the number of activities it organises and the various museums and spaces for public use it contains. The visit to the building allows members of the public to see the patios, the Espai Gaudi (attic and roof-terrace) and The Pedrera Apartment of CatalunyaCaixa .
